  I like to wash my car in these self-serve places, opened 24/7 (I think). For $2 in quarters, one can get high pressure water coming out of a nozzle for 4 minutes. For those who do not want to get their hands wet, this is probably not the right place for you. But cleaning a car for $2 sure beats any other place (except outside of your house, using hose and bucket). I live in western NY and the winters are brutal: harmful salt gets under and on your car real. I have not really washed my new car in the winter before. So, I checked online to check if washing car in below freezing temp was OK. Using water below freezing temp is not recommended. However, Robo Self-Serve offers warm water and a heater inside the washing station to keep things warm a bit! This is definitely my place to go for getting my car cleaned.
