Sears has the worst customer service in the world. Companies who outsource to Pakistan have better customer service! They don't ever answer the phone, when they do they just pick it up and hang it up. When you call corporate the people are so rude and just transfer you to online services who can't help either and end up hanging up the phone because they do not know what to say! This is beyond ridiculous when I paid for a product and can't even get assistance. I have been a platinum VIP member for years (mainly do my shopping at KMart), but I think I'm dumping Sears. I'm not going to support a business that doesn't even respect their customers. In the past year, I have had nothing but problems with online shopping with Sears. They lose my orders, they cancel them, they don't refund when they cancel the orders, the list goes on and on. I can see why all their stores are closing because they have the most incompetent people working here. I bet half their employees don't even have a GED or High School diploma

Best of the three in the area, usually have the stuff you need or will help you get it, friendly employees many have worked there for a long time always greet me and are helpful. Hardly ever leave empty handed.

TL:DR. Sears is closing, the employees seem to accept it and no longer care, and my next visit will be a Sears museum on some road trip in 50 years. Edit: I was angry when I wrote this. In the end, my experience actually went down hill. Turns out they gave my item to someone else because they didn’t have one in stock. Which is why they ordered one for me in the first place... Needless to say, now that Craftsman is making less stuff in the US, there is no more need to step foot in a Sears again, unless it’s as a museum to the “Great American Department Stores of Years Past”. Three weeks into waiting for the tool box that was supposed to be at the store 3 days after I ordered it. Have called literally every dept including “customer service” and only found one answering machine. Went to check on order, couldn’t even talk to an actual person. Had a machine tell me that my item wasn’t there yet. Thanks for the wasted trip person(s) who don’t know that ringing indicates a phone call. No idea why Sears is suffering so much...
